Individuals undertaking this qualification must have passed a valid background check prior to accessing security-restricted resources associated with AVIG0001 Work effectively in a transport security environment. A valid background check for the purposes of an individual undertaking the qualification is a background check on an applicant for, or the holder of an aviation security identification card or maritime security identification card.

• Students will complete the Job Ready online application via www.asic.net.au
• Once submitted, the student will come to a company agent with the required ID documents.
• Veritas will process the application and as it was uploaded by an agent, we will know that the payment will be going under the account
  • Some students may go to Australia Post to lodge but please note that any Job Ready application lodged via Australia Post must be paid at the Post Office at the time of lodgement
• When the background check has been approved, the students will receive their Job Ready Certificate and can provide this as part of their course enrolment, or when it is required.
